The highlight of my day occured as I was putting my coat away to start my shift at the museum. My ears were bombarded with the high pitch screech of several little voices. “Itttssss CHIHULY!!!!” Normally, I ignore such instances but I found myself being totaly over whelmed with happiness at the excitement these kids had for this piece of art, and how awesome they thought Chihuly was. The fact that they remembered his name and identified his style was amazing to me. I definitely just became inspired by the notation of artists as rock stars to future generations.
